Cuento Studio Membership Terms & Cancellation Policy

By purchasing a membership with Cuento Studio (“Studio”), you (“Member”) agree to the following terms regarding billing, access, usage, and cancellation.

1. Membership Access & Usage

  • Unused membership hours expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

  • Memberships are non-transferable and may not be shared or reassigned without written approval from Cuento Studio.

  • Studio access is available only during booked sessions

  • All bookings are subject to normal availability, operating hours, studio booking and approval rules, and paid-period eligibility.

  • Memberships are intended for private creative sessions and productions only. Public events, ticketed gatherings, workshops, or promotional events are not permitted under membership plans.

  • No annual pause is offered for new memberships. Existing members retain the terms of their original agreement.

  • Missed sessions, late arrivals, or no-shows may result in forfeited time

2. Membership Tiers & Minimum Commitment

Creator Membership — $625/month

  • Designed for individual creators · Includes 6 hours of studio access per month

  • Minimum commitment of three monthly billing periods

  • Renews month-to-month after the initial term

  • Includes 10% off all in-house equipment rentals and the separate $350 lighting package ($315 after the discount)

  • 30 days' written notice required to cancel

  • Automatically billed monthly on the original billing anchor, using the last day of shorter months where needed. Failed collection does not restart the minimum term.

Studio Pro Membership — $999/month

  • Designed for individual creators and freelancers · Includes 10 hours of studio access per month

  • Minimum commitment of three monthly billing periods

  • Renews month-to-month after the initial term

  • 30 days' written notice required to cancel

  • Automatically billed monthly on the original billing anchor, using the last day of shorter months where needed. Failed collection does not restart the minimum term.

  • Not intended for production companies, agencies, or recurring commercial productions.

Brand Partner Membership — $3,000/month

  • Required for brands, agencies, production companies, and in-house creative teams · Includes 20 hours of studio access per month

  • Minimum commitment of three monthly billing periods

  • Studio approval, custom onboarding and a partnership agreement are required before payment. Includes dedicated storage, receiving and coordination, and quarterly production planning.

  • Renews month-to-month after the initial term

  • 30 days' written notice required to cancel

  • Automatically billed monthly on the original billing anchor, using the last day of shorter months where needed. Failed collection does not restart the minimum term.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Submit cancellation notice in your Pilotare membership account. This counts as written notice and may be submitted during the initial term.

  • Membership ends at the first original monthly billing boundary at least 30 calendar days after notice and after the three-period minimum. Calendar days use the studio’s saved timezone. Review the actual end date and remaining scheduled fees before confirming notice. Example: join January 1, give notice March 20, pay once more April 1 and end May 1.

  • No refunds or prorated charges for unused time or partial months

  • Memberships canceled before the minimum commitment period remain financially obligated for the full term

4. Equipment & Studio Care

Equipment access varies by membership tier.

  • Standard Studio Rental ($125/hour) and Creator Membership include:

Basic Studio Gear Cart

  • 4 xC-stands

  • Apple boxes

  • Sandbags

  • Stingers

Studio Pro and Brand Partner include:

  • The lighting package and full access to Cuento Studio's listed lighting, grip, modifiers, monitors, and support equipment are included.

  • Camera bodies and lenses are not included.

  • Members are responsible for the proper use and care of all studio equipment during their booking.

  • Any damage caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow studio guidelines may result in repair or replacement charges.

  • All equipment must remain on-site unless otherwise approved in writing by Cuento Studio.

  • Equipment availability is subject to maintenance, repair, and prior reservations.

  • Members must follow all studio policies, including cyclorama care, equipment handling, and general safety procedures.

5. Liability & Risk Assumption

  • Members assume all risks associated with the use of the studio

  • Cuento Studio is not responsible for personal equipment, props, or materials brought into the space

  • Proof of insurance may be required for certain memberships or productions

6. Modifications & Updates

Cuento Studio reserves the right to update membership pricing, availability, policies, or studio operations with reasonable notice.

7. Agreement & Acceptance

By purchasing a membership or booking studio time, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Membership Terms & Cancellation Policy.

Acknowledgment

These Membership Terms & Cancellation Policy apply to new Cuento Studio enrollments. Existing members retain the terms of their original agreement.

Members are required to review and agree to these terms during checkout prior to purchasing a membership or booking studio time.
