Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book a tour before joining?

No. Tours are optional, but recommended if you’d like to see the space in person and walk through how memberships work before joining.

Is this an hourly rental studio?

No. Cuento is a membership-based studio designed for creators who need ongoing access. Memberships offer predictable availability and pricing—without hourly rates, surprise fees, or equipment upcharges.

What equipment is included?

All members have access to studio cart essentials, including C-stands, apple boxes, grip gear, and basic LED lighting.

Full equipment packages are included with Studio Pro and higher tiers. Equipment access varies by membership level.

What happens if I go over my included hours?

Additional time may be available depending on studio availability and your membership tier. Extra hours are billed at your tier’s rate, or you may upgrade at any time if your needs increase.

Can I move furniture or adjust the sets?

Yes. Members are welcome to move furniture and styling elements to configure the space for their shoot, as long as everything is returned to its original setup at the end of the session.

Are sets guaranteed to be available?

No. Sets rotate and change over time. Available sets can be used as-is during your session, but some areas may be in build or transition depending on the studio schedule.

Is the studio shared during my session?

No. All booked sessions are private. You will not be sharing the studio with other members during your scheduled time.

Can I bring clients or collaborators?

Yes. Members may bring clients, talent, or collaborators, provided sessions stay within the scope of the booked time and membership guidelines.

Can I use the studio for paid client work?

Yes. Members are welcome to use the studio for client projects, commercial shoots, and branded content.

How far in advance can I book?

Advance booking windows vary by membership tier. Higher tiers allow earlier booking access while ensuring fair availability for all members.

Do unused hours roll over?

No. Membership hours reset monthly and do not roll over.

What kinds of shoots is the studio best for?

Cuento is well-suited for photo and video shoots including product, lifestyle, editorial, interviews, branded content, and small team productions.

If you have a specific use case, booking a tour is the best way to confirm fit.

Is parking available?

Yes. Convenient on-site or nearby parking is available for load-in and day-to-day sessions.

Is the studio staffed during my session?

Most sessions are self-run. The studio is designed for independent access, with clear guidelines in place to ensure smooth operation for all members.

Is there a long-term commitment?

Commitment varies by membership tier:

  • Creator & Studio Pro memberships require a 2-month minimum commitment, after which they continue month-to-month.

  • Enterprise & Brand Partner memberships require a 3-month minimum commitment under a custom agreement.

Full terms are outlined during checkout.

Can I host events?

Memberships do not include public or ticketed events of any kind. Events require a separate rental agreement and pricing structure.
Members receive preferred event rates.
